Nicely made
I'd never thought about getting a heated jacket but I know my husband loves going out in the cold to shovel or plow snow and comes in freezing (winter is coming!). He is so pleased with this jacket! He's 6'3 and 180 lbs, and the XL fits very well in sleeve length and body length. He said it heats up quick and he really likes that he can just push a button in the upper chest area to warm it up. The button lights up different colors so you can determine which setting you're on w/o removing the coat or using glasses to see a digital readout. Perfect idea for someone who cannot see as well as when younger. The fabric is nice, waterproof. The battery pack has its own pocket on the inside of the coat. The jacket has lots of storage--a pocket inside that stores a large phone, two zippered pockets on the outside with a zippered pocket on each sleeve. It has some adjustable elastic on the bottom so you can tighten it against your lower torso. The coat came with a storage bag--great idea. He's very happy with this jacket and is looking forward to the day when he can tuck his hands inside the jacket and they actually get warm! He does have hand warmers too. I'm happy that he's going to stay warm this winter!
Only used it once yesterday. This jacket heats up fast. This is a game changer for those cold windy football nights. Was warm, while everyone else was shivering.
I've been looking for a heated jacket like this because, you know, winter is coming. The jacket heats up pretty quickly, a few minutes (I like to pre-heat mine). The fabric is waterproof, and the jacket is warm even without the "juice" being turned on. I love that it has three temperature settings, and the battery pack fits nice and neatly into its own pocket inside the jacket. The jacket itself came in a nice box and a mesh cloth storage bag. The battery pack can also be used for charging phones or other USB-type charging gadgets. The only thing I wish it had was an adapter to use any type of battery pack. You have to use one that has the barrel plug, which, to my knowledge, they don't.
I haven't timed the battery pack to see if all the claims of battery life are true, but from my use case, they seem quite accurate. I used mine on high heat for about 30 minutes, and the battery read at 86%, so I'm sure I could get 3-4 hours on high heat and even more on lower settings.
I honestly couldn't be happier with this jacket and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a product like this. This jacket is going to get a lot of use during these cold months. Not only does it keep me warm, but the versatility with all the zippered pockets makes it perfect for both outdoor activities and casual outings. I'm excited to see how it performs in even colder temperatures. I have no doubt it will keep me nice and warm.
